Just what the title says. How far have you gotten with that elusive girl? I don't mean have you slept with her or kissed her, but smaller things. Have you spoken to her? Made eye contact with her? Admitted to family or friends that you have a crush? Or are you just an admirer from afar?

Spoken to her, made eye contact, become friends. Also asked her out, and been rejected.

I don't think I really ever had oneitis. I've liked a lot of different girls, but I could never do anything about it. I was never intensely focused on one, though. There are several that I look back on with regret. One I am close with still would lay her head on my shoulders or hug me a lot last year (I think these were IOIs?). I've noticed that she's a lot less touchy with me these days. I'm pretty sure I had an opportunity there that I wasted.

For the most part just admire her from afar. A few times made eye contact and smiled at her. The rare times where small talk was involved it was always her initiating.

I've gotten farther with completely random girls than I have with ones I've had oneitis for.

talking to them, becoming friends...coffee with one, partied with some of them at one point (in a big group, of course), nothing further.

Admitted to one that I liked her in that way, but she said, "As a friend, I'm warning you..."

Practically x2, except that I've said hello a bunch of times and that it was she who answered back. As for small talk, it's easier when you're both part of a group, which was my case.

Exactly the same here. That's the furthest I've ever gotten... good friends with the object of my oneitis. But when I wanted to go further, she said no.

Hugs, good friends (friendzone), went out on numerous friend-dates, talked to for hours on end on the phone... went on road trips together.... unfortunately I was just the intellectual whore/cuddle bitch/emotional tampon and there was always a bad boy "boyfriend" who got the benefits.

Well, that was a past tense oneitis... did you mean present tense e_i? Because I haven't suffered oneitis for quite awhile now, thank GOD!

I didn't make this thread - present, past? whatever works

Actually I haven't had present oneitis in a while or at least no oneitis to the scale of my former ones.

Whoops! Don't know why I thought you were the OP e_i, other than I think you might have asked questions like this in similar topics? Anyway, my bad!

Did you mean past or present tense LikeDylanInTheMovies?
