I've always thought girls find me ugly. However, when talking about this with my friend today, he said his girlfriend said that I'm really good looking. I didn't believe him and he showed me her texts, and she said "he has that tall dark and handsome look." I'm 6'4'' and Hispanic, so yeah.

Also, the girlfriend of one of my other friends has also told me she thinks I'm cute.

Not sure if they're just being nice or what, but I honestly did receive a good boost today because of that.

What do you mean by hispanic in terms of appearance? One interesting thing I read once was that there's no "hispanic" race, most hispanoamerican people are mixed race.

No idea. Boys often say to me, "you should have no trouble getting laid", "you are a hunk", "you are a stud", "you're attractive", and girls say similiar things...only when at abnormally large distances away from me, such as across an ocean or on another continent. They further claim that they showed me to their friends and family who claimed the same thing. Girls in real life? Nothing.

People from Portugal and Spain are not mixed race. Most Mexicans who come to America have Indian-Spanish blood and
are properly called "Mestizo".

The true rulers of Mexico are mostly of direct Spanish ancestry, thus they appear to be very 'White" looking, while the darker skin color of many Latin-American immigrants indicates a mixed blood of native northern or southern American origin.

Hispania (or "Hispanic" in English) was the Roman name for the peoples native to Iberian Peninsula, not to people's of the America's, which were not known at the time.

For some reason unknown to me, the US government decided that Portuguese are NOT Hispanic, but people from Spain, Mexico and Latin America are. Go figure!!

Nothing special/average, so I am ignored 99.9% of the time. The few women outside of my family that have ever complimented me on my physical appearance were in LTRs or were married, hahaha...

What is it with those women? Every day I get older, and yet I feel as though I'm missing so much. I never realized just how much I have been missing. I've wanted my life to just fast forward to my dying day. In that moment, I really "live" and it will not be some Viking gunslinger go down in a blaze of glory, but an eclispe of epic sadness that will swallow my soul. Life will go on without me. It does everyday for the thousands who die unknown to us both near and far. To think we focus so hard on finding love and meaningful relationships on this board; everyday is a broken record.

I should be thankful for everything, but I've grown angry and resentful of life. Not enough money, not enough friends or romance to fill the void. Those that are married must sense accomplishment.

I don't think girls think I look ugly (cause I don't think I look ugly), but aside from that I really don't know. I don't think I can trust other people's comments about my attractiveness too much cause people want to be supportive so they will always say I look good even if I don't. only the willingness of a girls to get romantically involved with me is a good indication of whether I am attractive or not, and since I don't ask girls out very often its pretty hard to get an idea of where I stand.

As far as I know, I think that people in general don't think highly of my looks. I say this because whenever I ride the bus, people tend to avoid sitting next to me, or near me. If all the seats are taken except the one next to me, almost always the person would rather stand than sit next to me, then when someone else leaves an empty seat, they'll sit at that one. I kind of know what you feel because on the one hand I also feel that my looks aren't that great, especially with the way people act around me, but then on the other hand I have had a few people tell me that I'm good looking and that if "they had to guess," I've probably been with dozens of women, and this shit throws me off because I wonder: Am I really so unattractive that people would not want to be near me and want to avoid speaking to me, or is it some other reason that I just can't figure out.

This shit is trippy. But you do get me thinking though.
