Well, the only girl I've ever really talked to at all is the girlfriend of one of my past roommate's. He knows we talk, but it's only me asking for advice and stuff. She knows how scared I am of girls.

Anyways, she works at a fast food place near my work that I usually stop at for lunch. Every time I go there, she asks me if I've tried talking to my one-itis I've had for the past few months. Obviously I haven't.

She then told me the other day to simply just message her on Facebook for her number, which in my mind sounds like an insane action to take. Has anyone here tried something like this? I think she'd just be freaked out by me trying something like that.

Now, jgarci12, I take it by "insane," you mean that this action isn't likely to lead to you getting with this girl. I dunno your background with this girl, but if you like her and want to spend time with her, you should make that intention clear and try to make this happen. Do this and get her phone number if you need another method of contacting her to set it up. Obviously there's a good chance she'll say no or simply not reply, but this isn't the end of the world.
