Not really on topic per se, but this clip from BBT struck a cord. Take away the laughter, and suddenly Sheldon looks a lot like me playing some game - minus some girl talking to me in the hallway. That girl would be too busy hanging onto two guys headed to the starbucks.

I didn't have a laptop in college, but I could see myself in the exact same position giving similar responses to someone asking me why I'm sitting around on a Friday night. I had all my homework done for the weekend and typically was ahead in all my classes, so by 6:00 PM on Friday... I just wandered aimlessly around campus as a lost soul.

Crazy as it seems, but I think I was happiest in those days. It's already been 10 years...time doesn't fly by...it just is filled with lots of empty spaces we cannot remember or in my case don't want to remember.

Someone just showed this to me, and thought I'd share it. Old school handhelds!

For those interested, I'm pairing up with at least one other forum-goer in League of Legends matches. The more people we have for premade teams, the better.

What champions do you play as?

Cho'gath, Alistar, Annie, Galio, and Nasus are my picks whenever fitting. I'm most comfortable playing as tank/off-tank, but I'm a passable support.

... I haven't played in months, though, so I missed the usual patches, the jungle rework, etc. :waa: This is gonna be painful for awhile.

Maybe I will. :)

Expect to have no idea what's going on for the first dozen or two dozen games, and to be yelled at unless you're playing with friends. The upside is that for lower-skill players there's always going to be something relatively new and unpredictable, and if you manage to hit the higher rankings where things tend to be more predictable then you just put on your poker face and see who messes up first and who capitalizes on mistakes best. Suspense!

I won't yell at you but I will laugh. I almost never play one specific champion, but I always play her against new friends so that I can abuse the fact that I can jump over specific points in the walls for much hilarity.

:oops:

I think I prefer being yelled at than laughed at. Is that weird? :|

I got into the closed beta. May 15 cannot get here soon enough. Thinking about the Collections Edition. I'd rather have a hard copy than go all digital. Not for something I've waited 10 years to see.

I think I still have some stuff from Diablo I around here somewhere. Never actually expected to see a III.

...

Maybe I'll live to see a Warcraft 4, too? Something? Anything? ;A;

Finally had time to really sit down and play. Was expecting it to be awkward and complicated to some degree, but it's quite streamlined so far.

Had some fun with witch doctor and BATS BATS BATS FWOOM, but I think I'll be preferring barbarian or monk as I thought. Been reminded all over again why I don't normally like ranged.

Delighted to see some unexpected new twists to monsters (walls, what?). Also, treasure bandits catchitcatchitcatchit.
