It was from 1970. Ike and Tina Turner at the "Basin West Club" in San Francisco.

Tina was backed by the girl singers..."The Ikettes" and Ike Turner was leading the "Kings of Rhythm" band...

There was zero messing around, and let me say Ike Turner's PLAYING and MUSICISANSHIP. This guy was better than most. What a shame he slapped up and beat up his wife.......he could've gone down in rock and roll history as one of the best guitarists ever.

The show was great, Tina wasn't foolin' nobody. She tore it up on the stage and and on the mic.

Where is the justice today music-wise?

Well you tell me. When I think back to some of the bands that USED to be out there - Rainbow, Steppenwolf, The Guess Who, and I hear some of the shite that purports to be music today....I feel one of these is needed...
