When I'm feeling sad, I often listen to Metallica's Fade to Black : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38p55TkZibc
That's one of my favourite songs

I have a couple, but the most pertinent is probably Blue by Eiffel 65

 wait what? Perhaps I'm biased as that was my favorite childhood song, but how does that relate to incel/LS?
I have a girlfriend, and she is so blue.

@mrping. Haha. Whoops. Depression is the main mark of this song and the world he lives in is fraught with it, though I forgot about that girlfriend part...probably should have listened to it before I posted.

Well I'm not saying it can't be  It's just interesting to see another take on it. I suppose it's just because I grew up with it, but I don't associate it with anything other than nostalgia.

This is kinda a oneitis song if you look at it from the right angle, even though it's written for an actual relationship.

Currently this one:

I only wanted to get you close to me
To feel the love inside of me
You turned away from me
You looked the other way
You didn't see my tears for you
I only wanted to take you in my arms,
And lay you down here with me
You tried to turn and flee from my side
You tore out the heart of me
If only you had stayed. What may have been?
We could have been beautiful
Could have walked the earth, flown into the skies,
Swam the deepest of the seas
But you couldn't see anything in me
You strayed too far from my path
Maybe now you'll see everything in me
I'm sorry it had to be this way

"There has been no genetic change since we were hunter-gatherers, but deep in the mind of modern man is a simple hunter-gatherer rule: strive to acquire power and use it to lure women who will bear heirs; strive to acquire wealth and use it to buy affairs with other men’s wives who will bear bastards . . . Wealth and power are means to women; women are means to genetic eternity.

Likewise, deep in the mind of modern woman is the same hunter-gatherer calculator, too recently evolved to have changed much: strive to acquire a provider husband who will invest food and care in your children; strive to find a lover who can give those children first-class genes. Only if she is very lucky will they both be the same man . . . Men are to be exploited as providers of parental care, wealth and genes." - Matt Ridley "The Red Queen"

"Humor won’t save you; it doesn’t really do anything at all. You can look at life ironically for years, maybe decades; there are people who seem to go through most of their lives seeing the funny side, but in the end, life always breaks your heart. Doesn’t matter how brave you are, how reserved, or how much you’ve developed a sense of humor, you still end up with your heart broken. That’s when you stop laughing. In the end there’s just the cold, the silence and the loneliness. In the end, there’s only death." - Houellebecq
