hmm interesting might have too look into it. I was investigating crossfit at my local gym but it's stupid expensive and you can do all the exercises by yourself anyway. It's just motivation and staying consistent that's a problem for me. I go through waves of motivation and stick to a schedule for a while but then slip and fall out of it. It's frustrating.

Nah working out and exercise is almost like a hobby of mine. I feel like shit when I don't work out and it gives me more confidence. It would take me years to get mega buff but I do want to improve on where I currently am.

I did my first workout yesterday and it felt great. For people on a tight budget, I would recommend looking into using cinder blocks.

Here is what I bought:
-2 cinder blocks for $1.50
-15ft rope $7
-Leather gloves $9

Plus I bought supplements as well which costed more than all of my equipment, but still cheap.

Weird thing is I worked out for over an hour and was dripping sweat in 50 degree weather....yet I am not sore at all today. Pretty sure I went hard enough cause the last reps I could hardly complete. So maybe I need to step it up, or maybe my muscles are just conditioned for it from the strength training. I may have to step it up to the double cinder block for added weight and less reps. Cleaning the double cinder block a few times would be no easy task.

Eventually you won't get very sore at all from training. Your body is familiar with the process of repairing micro tears very quickly. It could also be getting used to repetative muscle movements, so now might be a good time to mix it up. Be careful while using improvised methods for heavy lifting. Be very careful, because injuries are more likely.
