I'm assuming that's a common component of shampoo perhaps? Already use it, seems to work ok...

It is usually sold as a gel.

Even better thing for dandruff are shampoos containing ketoconazole, because they can more easily reach skin. However, problem with this is that some of those shampoos contain cancerous substance called cocamide DEA.

Well known anti-dandruff Head & Shoulders is suspicious because it have cocamide MEA as one of its ingredients on which (according to some websites) there is not enough information on how much it is dangerous.

There are many anti-dandruff shampoos on the market, so blokes, give it a try.

Problem with fluocinolone acetonide is this: if you have hair longer than (maybe) 0.5 cm, it will hardly reach the inflamed skin. For example, let's analyze this on example of this Justin Beaver dude:

As you can see, not only he's hairy all over his body, but he has quite abundant amount of hair, so fluocinolone acetonide won't work at all. I would recummend to him, if he greatly suffers from dandruff, that either he cuts his hair to the lowest possible length before using fluocinolone acetonide or that he start using some anti-dandruff shampoo. :coolbeans:
