I don't know why this is so hard for me to do. I like Lamborghini's, but i've come to grips with the fact i'll never have one... But i just cannot bring myself to contemplate the idea that i will never have a very beautiful woman. I refuse to believe it. I wish i could change it. I don't like the average girl. It takes something extraordinary about a girl to attract me, be it face, legs, something. The only part of that article that i couldn't agree with was when he said that he bet after being in prison for 10 years and having no contact with women the guy would be happy with the "honda." 20 years and i'm not happy with the honda. I don't want the honda. It's god damned depressing.

Well as far as cars go I'd be more than happy with a honda. Same with chicks, I guess. A girl can be ok looking but she's gotta have a nice personality.

As for only being attracted to attractive chicks, well, have you turned down chicks you thought were average? If not, it's just academic.

It's not that simple lemonlime... the fact that he has high standards for attraction doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate the simple things... I'm sure he would have no problem with a platonic relationship with a woman he didn't find that attractive... he would probably even be ok in an asexual realtionship with one. I held a poll a few months ago on how many members here would take an asexual relationship with romance and cuddling over a pure sexual one devoid of emotion, and it was a landslide toward the asexual choice.... IF they had to choose. Most agreed it was a sucky choice either way.

But the point is that over 99% of women are NOT asexual so you can't have a relatiosnhip with one and not be expected to put out... and if she is so unattractive that doing so would be torture, then even if a man is willing to sacrifice and have sex with her anyway, she is not going to be satisfied with the result and the relationship is doomed to failure.... regardless of how great they got along otherwise.

Women never back down on their physical standards when it comes to who they will have sex with, and men shouldn't have to either.

The difference is that the 10 years guy probably doesn't think much about why he has to go for a fat woman or whether she actually likes him, whereas for you it's a reminder of your failure and a compromise on a goal you have - to get a woman who will like you, not settle for you. Correct me if I'm wrong.

yes actually.. i wouldn't say i've turned them down because they've never flat out asked me or anything like that. But i have showed little interest and just drifted into the highland mist with a couple girls i thought weren't bad looking, but didn't measure up. If it's any consolation i didn't click with their personalities either. And one was mega religious which i don't really care for.
