I had no idea Kick-ass was your kind of movie. No, but if you ever wind up stuck on a rail, I'll try to get you down.

Hello and welcome to love-shy.com, Cherrystar.....

I have no problem with the idea of them, just reservations of using one myself. Part of it does stem from the fact a 'friend' played a joke on me at uni, and posted a profile on an 'adult' dating website without me knowing, with an actual photo of me! I only discovered it, as I googled myself (sad I know!) And if anyone I knew had found that, I would have been mortified! Luckily I managed to persuade her to delete it after a week. Still don't know what picture she used or why she did it. I wouldn't know which ones to really trust, and some you have to pay for.

Sorry, I forgot how international this forum was. I think the language crosses over a lot. Certain words that are normally used here in UK, keep changing. Some words I just prefer than others. Flirt has become a word we use a lot here now, especially with the teens and then you just keep saying it as you grow up.

If I don't type anything which doesn't sound right to you, I'm fine with explaining myself better. :P

Welcome to the forum. Hope you find some insight here, and have some good laughs too. Agree with the above posters about having a little bit of a thick skin, this is not a "pc" forum, nor is it a place where the men (myself included) will be shamed or snorted at for our unfortunate condition, bad luck, or not being blessed with lovely looks.......

Hope you find what you are looking for ;-)

Welcome!

The guys here can have politically incorrect views, but most of us are lovable in our own way, honest ;)

Hey! Nice to see another british girl here. I'd say the solution to your problem is to just sign up to a dating site. Don't worry about "fixing" this social anxiety you are feeling. Men don't care about that. In a few minutes you should get at least 50 various guys lined up. Pick 1, say yes and bam, problem solved. If you can even call it that.

LOL!!

I loved "Kick-Ass". I never laughed so much in my life when "Hit-Girl" was cussing up a storm and killing all kinds of bad
guys. I still can't get over the fact that this movie was even allowed to be produced. Totally enjoyed everything about it.

My kind of girl!!! :coolbeans:

Hey, there. :)
I'll say this straight out: As long as you're not one of those entitlement princesses who think that men should kneel down and offer everything to women on a silver platter, you're welcome here. :D

I'm definitely not one of those. I'm all for equality, and thinks girls should do a lot more than they actually do. Just because it's traditional for the guy to do everything, doesn't mean the girls can't share it and be different for once.
