I need to quit my sugar addiction. I don't drink any alcohol or smoke, but with both sides of family history with type 2 diabetes, sugar is my enemy.

Hang in there. GO TO MEETINGS. Some are boring, some are bland, but sometimes they REALLY help.

AA and NA were crucial when I first got sober and cleaned up. Most of the time it was just knowing that I wasn't alone with dealing with this problem.

I got to NA about once a month now, to show support to newer members that "yes, there is a life post drinking and coking up"

I have been clean and sober now over five years, and my life is MUCH better. I dropped the cigarettes just over a year a ago (and THAT was harder than quitting cocaine for me)

I am doing very well. Im yet to drink. its always hard to sleep. cannabinoids dont erase reality. this is very hard, but im still remebering why im doing this. the only reason im doing good right now is i am exploiting this temporary drive. if i didnt have it i would have failed. i dont know what will happen when it dissapears.

This. I'm in the same boat. I don't do drugs or alcohol, or smoke, but I have had a bad diet at times. I need to cut out sugar. My paternal grandfather passed away of diabetes. I should take that as a warning.

I love me some sugar to boys. Since the sauce is gone ive been drinking alot more soda. i probably should switch to gatorade or something though. but i likes me some flavor when i drinks!
